I am Priyanthan Gunanantham, an artist from London, UK. I primarily paint in oils in an alla-prima style drawing inspiration from impressionism and the modern British pleinair movement.

My passion for painting started after I started working in 2015 and wanted to find a hobby for the weekends. After years of learning how to paint through 'YouTube', in 2021, I gave outdoor painting (pleinair) a go for the first time and haven't looked back since. I find joy in capturing the light and conveying the emotional connect I have with the subject through my paintings.
